Sunday Services

Arrangements are being made to have church services online with Zoom.

In the meantime, we encourage you to attend the online services of The Mother Church. The Sunday service starts at 10 a.m. and an audio replay is available all week.  Go to: https://www.christianscience.com/publications-and-activities/online-services-and-events/online-sunday-church-service.

Sunday Services provide a quiet time each week for prayer and meditation, and consist of music, scriptural readings and a Bible Lesson Sermon.

Fresh every week, the Sermon gathers stories and texts from the Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy. It is the same sermon heard on Sundays in Christian Science branch churches and societies in 70 countries around the world.

Two members of our congregation are elected as Readers and lead the service.

Sunday School

Sunday School is held at the same time as our church service. Students up to the age of 20 delve into the Bible and Science and Health to learn about their relationship to God. They join other spiritual explorers in applying Biblical truths to daily life, answering tough questions, and practicing Christian healing.

Children are taught the Scriptures and are instructed according to their level of understanding. Lessons are based on the Ten Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Sermon on the Mount and other inspired passages from the Bible.  The weekly Christian Science Bible lesson may also be discussed.  Students learn they can find answers to their questions about meeting daily challenges at school and home, as well as in relationships and other concerns through prayer.  Students and teachers often are in touch during the week to further support spiritual progress.

Wednesday Evening Meetings

During our temporary closure you can attend the online services of The Mother Church. The Wednesday Testimony Meeting is at 2 p.m. and rebroadcast through Friday at 8 a.m.  Go to: https://www.christianscience.com/publications-and-activities/online-services-and-events/online-wednesday-testimony-meeting.

Find a refuge in the middle of your week at our Wednesday evening testimony meetings. They open with music and readings from the Bible and Science and Health that focus on timely topics applicable to your needs.  Following the readings, all are invited to give gratitude and share their own experiences that demonstrate God’s power to heal discords of every kind through prayer as taught in Christian Science.
